We offer a wide range of cake flavours, some of which can be made halal and gluten free.

Madagascan Vanilla

Moist vanilla sponge infused with madagascan vanilla bean syrup, filled with a fluffy vanilla buttercream and raspberry preserve. GF & Halal option available.

ROSE & PISTACHIO

Moist pistachio sponge cake filled with a delicate rose buttercream and crushed pistachios. Contains NUTS (Almonds and Pistachios).

COCONUT & BLACK CHERRY

Moist coconut sponge filled with indulgent black cherry preserve and a delicate coconut buttercream.

Cherry Bakewell

Moist almond sponge filled with fluffy vanilla bean buttercream, a layer of thinly rolled marzipan and finished with black cherry preserve. Contains NUTS (Almonds).

AMAretti Tiramisu

Moist coffee sponge filled with fluffy vanilla coffee buttercream, crushed amaretti biscuits and infused with an indulgent espresso syrup. May contain NUTS (Almonds).

BLUEBERRY & Sicilian Lemon

Moist lemon sponge infused with zesty lemon syrup, filled with delicate blueberry curd and lemon buttercream. GF available. Halal option available.

English Toffee

English toffee flavoured sponge filled with a sticky toffee sauce and luscious caramel buttercream GF option available.

Red Velvet

Rich red velvet sponge, filled with a fluffy madagascan vanilla buttercream. Halal option available

Salted CarameL & Macadamia

Our favourite! Madagascan vanilla and macadamia sponge cake, drizzled with luscious homemade salted caramel sauce and filled with a salted caramel buttercream, topped with crushed macadamia nuts. Contains NUTS (Macadamia).

Chocolate Orange

Delicious orange infused chocolate sponge cake, filled with smooth chocolate buttercream.

Indulgent Chocolate

Beautifully moist chocolate sponge, filled with a smooth chocolate buttercream.

White Chocolate & Raspberry

A light, white chocolate sponge scattered with raspberries and filled with a fluffy white chocolate buttercream.

Traditional Fruit Cake

Our luxury fruit cake is packed full of flavour, delicately fed with brandy and is covered with both marzipan and icing. Contains NUTS (Almond marzipan) & Raw Alcohol.

gluten free White Chocolate

Beautifully white chocolate gluten free sponge, filled with a fluffy white chocolate buttercream.  Only available in Gluten Free

 

VEGAN / DAIRY FREE

Please note, we do not currently offer any egg or dairy free cakes, such as vegan cakes.


HALAL

Unless otherwise mentioned, all our cakes are halal friendly and don’t contain any alcohol of any form. Cakes which mention "‘Halal options available’ contain extracts derived from alcohol but not raw alcohol. These can however be made with alternative ingredients on request, which aren’t derived from alcohol in any way.


Taster Boxes

Sample boxes are available to buy from our ‘Online Shop’ . The flavours in each box are pre set and cannot be changed on request. Visit our ‘Online Shop’ for more details on our current offering.

  • Please note: Sample flavours are planning in advance and we aren’t able to accommodate individual flavour changes or requests due to the amount of time and planning that goes into making these boxes. Flavours are changed every few months so if the ones in this box aren’t to your tastes you can wait for our next release.


Allergies

Unless otherwise specified all our products contain wheat, milk and eggs and they all are made in an environment that handles various nuts, soya and alcohol. All our fondant cakes also contain soya as standard. Gluten-free and alcohol-free cakes can be made on request but we cannot guarantee that these cakes will not contain trace amounts of allergens due to the nature of production. We are therefore unable to provide for anyone with nut allergies as all our products are made in an environment that handles nuts. Any customers with any allergies should mention this on first contact so we can discuss this with you further.

The Flamingo Bakery accepts no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions from eating our products. It is the customer’s responsibility to make us aware of any special dietary requirements that need to be accommodated in the making of their cake.


Storing your Cake

Once you have collected your cake or it has been delivered, it becomes solely your responsibility to ensure the cake is stored correctly and safely. All our fondant cakes, must be stored in a cool, dark & dry area, free from humidity. Buttercream cakes may need to be stored in the fridge on warm days. We also advise that all our sponge cakes should be eaten with in three days from delivery/collection.
